One Dude, One Dog: Good Times in the 519
@DogAndTom was an Instagram comic strip written and drawn by Ryan Cassidy and produced in collaboration with the Middlesex-London Health Unit 2021-2024. It was made for young adult males age18-24 at risk of nicotine addiction via cigarettes and vaping in SW Ontario. Weekly posts paired stories from the lived experience of a former smoker / dog-owner with health science research. During his three-year run, Cassidy produced over 160 weekly comic strips, two 24-page booklets, T-Shirts and assorted merchandise, and hundreds of images for promotions and giveaways.
